With the warmer weather finally upon us we have exciting news to tell you about in this edition, including the amazing news about our Lucy Loveheart Tea Towel Happily Ever After, our new Llewellyn Xavier OBE Wallpaper Collection and Kitchen accessories range. In June 2014 we see the addition of Kitchen accessories including Serving Trays, ideal for Summer breakfast in bed or serving summery drinks on a balmy evening, Scatter Trays perfect for that cuppa and biscuits or a stylish piece for loose change, keys, jewellery & knick knacks. Sandwich trays, chopping boards, coasters and placemats will complete the collection, here’s a little taster…..

Jacqui Joseph Designs is excited to announce the signing of two further Artist; Brighton based Kim Anderson and Peterborough based Andy Nottle. Their timeless and stunning works will be featured in our Artist Collection in the coming weeks.

Andy Nottle was born in Cornwall and spent his childhood exploring the wonders of the land around him. Perhaps this is why his work encompasses nature in it’s uniqueness. He has an eye for capturing light, the sea and landscapes which he transfers to his works. His techniques see him holding seminars, conducting workshops, visiting schools to demonstrate his techniques and skills to the young; his work was also used in a designers collection at London’s Fashion Week and he has exhibited his works for many years in various Galleries.

Kim Anderson graduated in Textile and Surface Design and lives in beautiful, vibrant Brighton. Kim gets inspiration from the colours and textures in everyday life. This might include vintage objects, contemporary art, interior design or simply creative images from magazines. There are artists that have also inspired Kim including Picasso, Elizabeth Blackadder and The Bloomsbury Group. Sometimes just taking a stroll around her colourful and cultural hometown of Brighton can provide the spark which is enough to start the creative process. Her work is both commercial yet playful and has a place in every home!
