Happy Christmas!
For me Christmas is about that last minute posting of Christmas cards, manic wrapping of handcrafted gifts, planning the Christmas lunch and the all important decking of the halls! Whatever Christmas is for you have a funfilled time! And if like me you don’t have a tree this year check out my tips, no tree? No problem solution….
It seems an age ago since we last sent out our regular newsletter. We had been busy showing at our very first Burghley Horse Trials, hectic but fun and we will be back there in 2015; then it was on to our annual Queens Park Day in London, as always a fun packed day, then we were back to Stamford in Lincolnshire for our yearly, not to be missed Christmas Fayre!

There’s nothing like a fabulous Christmas tree adorned with stunning decorations, but If like me you don’t have a tree this year, surely we can still deck the halls….? Yes we can! Tree or not we can still make our home gloriously festive!
Grab your tree decs and tie them together, in an adhoc fashion with ribbon and make your own unique banister garland.
Get outdoors and go on the hunt for unusual twigs and small branches, glue angled pieces together if you want a statement piece. Keep it natural or spray with any colour you desire and adorn with sparkly christmas cheer!
Use your large hurricane garden lanterns (just give them a wipe down if they’ve been outdoors for a while) and fill with christmas lights – add baubles to fill out the space: seek out decorative, clear glass vases and coloured candle holders to add a touch of light to your home. This is perfect for any dark corners in the home, great as a window display and a must to add that Christmas glow to any room…..I’ve used battery operated lights for most of my lanterns…..
Using a mixture of one plug and several battery operated lights creates a warm homely glow in any area of the home.
